I have been enviously looking at this beautiful boat for years. Now I have seen her up close and personal I am even more impressed. She is one of only 4 built by R&W Clarke (Isle of Wight) in 1963 and I believe is the only one left on the water. The hull is welcome to any inspection and the craftmanship is obvious. Now fitted with new engines she really does have plenty of power to go along with the stylish headturning lines. A racing pedigree from an era of classic styling and performance. Classic wooden motor vessel, 42ft built by B.P.Miles of Poole, 1958. She has spent the last three years being restored by her present owner. The work on her which he has been carried out is of a high quality. Plenty of brightwork externally and a varnished wooden interior. Her decks have been replaced with teak. She boasts a very generous headroom throughout the accommodation of over 6ft 6ins.....She has found to be a very comfortable live aboard cruising vessel. She has a long and fairly deep keel, so she would prove to be well behaved out in the seaways. |Her navigation mast can be lowered... read more

In excellent condition, 'Rose Marion' is a comfortable motor cruiser and floating home. Formerly 'Sir Arthur Rose', she was built in 1938, one of seven Watson designed lifeboats built by Robertsons in Dunoon.
