Ferdinand Magellan once said "Many men go to the ocean but very few keep going".
Well if you are one that keeps going, then there is nothing like a Nelson to keep you safe!
This roughty tough motor yacht was built by Halmatic, a builder synonymous with ocean going vessels. She was not built with recreation in mind, when you look down below she inspires confidence with her well laid out systems and oversized fittings. She really is ship like in all regards.
Powered by twin 295hp ford turbo diesels she packs quite a punch, with the capability of over 20kts. At her respectable cruise speed of 17kts she is far more efficient than many of the larger engined boats.
Out of the engine room she finished in Mahogany, built in such away that you just know the boat was built to last. With a powerful generator and all the usual refinements she is as comfortable as she is sea worthy.
I have owned her for many years, in this time she has all ways been maintained to the highest standard, this combined with her build quality she has been incredibly reliable.
With my kids now all grown up and moved away it is time for someone else to enjoy and look after her.
