1986 Hood 38 £59,950
The Hood 38 was designed by world renowned yachtsman and sail maker Ted Hood and built in France by Chantiers Wauquiez. They produced a yacht that shows fusion between the styles of boat design at that time. 1967 Great Dane 28 £9,500
Almost 77 years ago a young Dane sailed his Dragon Class racing dinghy into Bronze Medal position in the 1948 Olympic Games. These were the first Olympic Games held after WW II, and the sailing events were held in Torbay, South West England. That young man went on to build many boats, the most famous being the Great Dane 28: his name was Klaus Baess.

Chaperon has bilge keels and draws just under a metre. Noted as the second best sailing bilge keeler after the Falcon, which is just a bigger version of the same design so naturally a bit quicker. The Peter Duck is well known for its connection to Arthur Ransome, the very first one being designed for the writer by Laurent Giles just after the war.
